Yes, too many lights on, wasting energy... I suppose I won't be making the 2012 "Green" team but nevertheless following the advice:

The whole room could be illuminated with either two of those big lamps, or more strategically placed those little LEDs. But not with both and in such a high number !

I am not sure about the downlights. But I think my main problem until now is, that the room looks cold to me, so probably some lights should be a bit warmer.
