This street view is part of a series of images we completed for the Infinitas Plaza in Guangzhou for Zaha Hadid Architects. These images are the second time we've worked on the project the first stage being the winning competition entry. The images were completed at an extremely high resolution for print at 6 meters wide which had it's own challenges.

Dusk, rainy day in Georgetown, Ontario Canada.

Front on elevations are typically more challenging than your average rendering, because the sense of depth and directing people's eye is guided only by lighting and colours. You don't have the advantage of placing the camera on an angle that you know will drive the attention to the specific spot you want, so in this case lighting is always critical.

We worked multiple versions, with different lighting settings. Everything can be improved, but we are happy with this end result.... at least for now :-)

Elora, Ontario, Canada

This is one of a series of renderings for the new additions to the historic Elora Mills. We were engaged in the middle of the winter, but we wanted a summer/early fall view, where we could see the water running, so everything had to be modelled and rendered.

We went to the area to study the light conditions at early morning and late dusk. Our photography study was key to be inspired with the right type of lighting for this particular view.
